The musical legend had been under treatment for the last some days in the port city. Dawn newspaper reported that she passed away due to an unspecified illness on Saturday. Her father was an active member of the All-India Muslim League and hosted Pakistans founding father Muhammad Ali Jinnah during his trip to Pakistan before the Partition in 1947.
